Prof. Konstantin Novoselov

Nobel Prize winner (2010), Prof. of Physics at NUS

Prof. Sir Konstantin Novoselov FRS is a Russian-British physicist, and a Professor at Centre for Advanced 2D Materials at National University of Singapore. He is also the Langworthy Professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manchester.

His work on graphene was recognised by the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2010. Prof. Novoselov and Prof. Andre Geim were awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics for their groundbreaking achievements with the two-dimensional material graphene. At age 36, Prof. Novoselov was the youngest Nobel Laureate in Physics since 1971 and the youngest overall since 1992.
